The PSA is currently updating its raft of members' benefits and would like to hear from you about new incentives and ideas. In addition to the range of opportunities listed below we are keen to emphasise the organisation's role as a spokesbody for individuals, able to assist with legal, moral and other personal issues arising from your work as a professional artist.

Our newly designed Membership Cards will be issued from 2005 to help our members identify themselves for discount opportunities and special events. These will be mailed out to paid-up members with this newsletter.

Our aims and objectives will only be successful if we have a large membership. If we are to have a significant voice in the Community and be taken as an important lobby group for Artists, then we need artists to join.

We are offering the option to our members that instead of paying a yearly subscription of $55.00(inc. GST) you will now be given the option of the following packages:

This represents a great saving to your pocket as well as administration, In addition you won't be affected by any membership fee increases that my occur within the membership time frame.

Legal advice

Shaun Miller of Melbourne law firm Marshalls and Dent has kindly offered to assist PSA members with issues arising from professional work, such as gallery contracts, copyright law, moral rights, possibly defamation law and wills. He is happy to offer a free initial half hour consultation and can be contacted on Tel 0439 391 377.

We have observed that artists are often conspicuous consumers of fine literature and music so... the PSA is working on a unique range of discounts at select book and music outlets to help nurture your habit!
